Louis A. Criscillo
On October 18, 2025, of Mullica Hill. Age 85. Beloved husband of Karen (nee DelPriore). Devoted father of Julie Farkas (Jules) and Jessa Adamo (Filippo). Loving grandfather of Samuel (Savannah), Isabelle, Jacob, and Mia. Proud great-grandfather of Maiya. Cherished son of the late Louisa and Marie Rita (nee Russo) Criscillo.
Lou was born to a working-class family in Philadelphia and lived in “South Philly” until he was in 8th grade. He moved to West Philadelphia and attended West Catholic High School and went to Bandstand. Lou was an excellent dancer and loved 50’s music. He learned to play the banjo and at the age of 65 took up the saxophone in order to play with the Polish American string band. He marched down Broad Street for 5 years with the P.A.
Lou continued his education and twenty years later after graduating high school, he attended West Chester University and obtained a B.A.
Lou was a family man and loved his daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren above all else. He also loved animals and supported all organizations to promote animal welfare. He even owned a racehorse in the 1990’s and was an accomplished horseman. He sure was a man of varied interests.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Saturday, November 15th 10:00 – 11:00 am at the Presbyterian Church of Woodbury, 67 South Broad Street, Woodbury. Funeral Service 11:00 am.
In honor of Louis’ life, in lieu of flowers or other acts of sympathy, his family would encourage any donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
