Loretta A. Broomhead
(nee Celenza) On March 10, 2025, of Washington Twp. Age 81. Beloved wife of the late Richard. Devoted mother of Steven Broomhead and the late Scott Broomhead. Dear cousin of Linda Cashman (Donald), Dr. Anita Angelo (John Sr.), and their children Melissa and John Jr.
Loretta was a strong and loving woman dedicated to her family. She took on all her domestic responsibilities with enthusiasm and joy. She sewed, cooked, and baked with love in her heart. Family dinners at her home were very special. She made all the traditional Italian foods to perfection. She especially loved making the Easter pies. There were always plenty for everybody to take home.
Faith was strong in Loretta’s heart. She prayed the Rosary many times a day. Faith helped her cope with the tragic loss of her young son, Scott.
Loretta loved caring for her ailing mother in her later years. Their devotion to one another was intense.
The loss of Loretta will leave us with a little less joy and a touch of sadness in our hearts. But fond memories of love will sustain us.
Family and friends are welcome to attend her viewing Tuesday, March 18th 9:00 – 10:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church, 176 Stagecoach Rd., Sicklerville, NJ 08081. Mass of Christian Burial 10:45 AM. Entombment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Loretta’s memory may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church at the above address.
