Lillian Girardo (nee Kennedy), on August 12, 2023 of Washington Twp. Age 76. Beloved wife of Mario. Devoted mother of Linda (John), Michael (Denay) and Richard (Colleen). Loving grandmother of Gianna, Sam, Ethan, Lucy and Giovanni. Dear sister of Steven Kennedy (Rosemary), Elizabeth DeJesse (Sam) and the late Patricia Bissinger (John).

Lil spent her early years in South Philadelphia and attended Saint Maria Goretti High School. After getting married, she and Mario moved to Washington Township where they raised their three children. She earned her bachelor’s degree in special education from Rowan University and went on to teach in the Monroe Township School District for 25 years, where she loved teaching and her students. Throughout her life, Lil loved reading, spending time in Ocean City, going to the theater and most of all, visiting with her grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday 8:30 – 10:00 am at Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10:45 am at The Church of the Holy Family, Washington Twp. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
