On July 30, 2023, Lidia D. Pellin (nee Syvanych), of Washington Township, passed peacefully in her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving children and had recently celebrated her 72^nd birthday. Beloved wife of the late August F. Pellin, III. Devoted mother of Angela Domen (David) and Brian Pellin. Loving grandmother of Allison. Dear sister of Mary Mines (Richard), John Syvanych, Steve Syvanych (Halyna), and Olga Ziobert (Andrew). Loved by nieces and nephews.

Lidia was a resident of Washington Township for over forty years.  She worked as a Principal Library Assistant in the Campbell Library at Rowan University, where she retired after 25 years in 2015. Lidia was a devoted parishioner of Church of the Holy Family and she also attended mass and parish events at several other nearby churches. She served as treasurer of the Gold Star Wives of America, Inc., Holly Bush Chapter of the Mid-Atlantic Region.  Lidia’s other hobbies included cooking, gardening, shopping, and travel.

A memorial mass is scheduled for Friday, August 11, 2023 at 11:00 am at The Church of The Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Rd., Washington Twp.
