Marlene Hevia Hellman left a message on June 2, 2011:
Leslie was in our class of 1964 at Pompton Lakes High School. We always wondered what had happened to him after high school. He was a very intelligent and studious boy in high school. I am very sorry that he never attended the many class reunions that we had. I am very sorry to hear about his passing almost a year later. My belated condolences. My husband also passed away in 2010 after 38 years together and I know how sad and difficult it can be.

Bonnie & Ray Kish left a message on August 24, 2010:
My cousin Les holds a special place in my heart. Growing up together in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. We were in the same grade and classes for much of elementary school until his family moved to Pompton Lakes. Les was always the smart one... Gettysburg College and then serving in Vietnam. His job helped him to meet Dianna, the very best thing in his life. I'm glad we were able to see each other these last years and especially happy to see him before he passed. I will always be "Lavern" to Les as he is my "Squiggy" You are loved and missed by your extended family in New Jersey and Connecticut. Love Bonnie and Ray Kish & family
