Remembering you today Leonard on the seven year anniversary of your passing.rest in peace.
Thinking of you today Leonard, as I watch the ships at sea, a place you dearly loved. RIP
Happy Birthday Unc (December 19th). I love you and miss you very, very much.
My uncle, “Unc”, was the best uncle a kid could ever hope to have. When I was young he never spoke down to me as so many adults did but instead treated me as an equal, or at least as close to an equal as one possibly could. He was more than an uncle to me, he was truly my friend and I always looked forward to and cherished our visits. We built model planes and boats together, which I knew he loved and, eventually, he got me to love it too. He did all he could to make me happy … and he succeeded.
When Unc saw wrong he felt compelled to right it. He didn’t always succeed but he never gave up. And when he got sick, despite all he went through these past few months, he never gave up and never gave in. Unc fought the good fight till his last breath.
I know I won’t see his like again. I love him very much and miss him terribly.

Our beloved Unc is gone, after a long, good life. He was a brilliant man: an inventor, businessperson, sailor, musician and activist. He was loving and supportive of his family and devoted to his dear wife, Anita. Our loss is great and our hearts are heavy, but the memories are wonderful. We loved him very much. Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Beautifully put, bro. You were like a son to him to the very end, and he couldn't have had a better one. With you today in love and grief, Marcy

I first met Mr. Leonard Satz when he phoned to inform my husband and I that a refund was due us from Gloucester Township regarding a drainage survey done on our home! Later he shared with me his comparison grocery shopping guide for young couples on a budget, a copy of which I still keep to remind me of his kindness, intelligence and concern for his fellow man. What a wonderful tribute, Karen. Unc told me many, many times how much he appreciated all you did for him and your mom. You were a great daughter to my dear Unc. Love, Marcy
Thank you so much for taking the time to convey your very kind thoughts Leslie. We all greatly appreciate it.

Our best friend and neighbor for 32 years. Yellow sailboat, wood stoves, music, and never quitting fighting for what you believed was unjust. Just a few of many memories. Leonard, We will miss and remember you always.

I met Unc almost 45 years ago, when his beloved niece Marcy and I were first dating. Over the years, he become just like one of my blood uncles. He was easy to love: he was smart, kind, gentle, funny and a true gentleman of the old school. He also was a self-taught inventor who in the late 1980s designed and built his own "yellow submarine" (actually a tiny, bright yellow enclosed sailing vessel), which was featured in a local newspaper. He had many, many other ideas, and was interested in everybody and everything. Goodbye, Uncle Lenny...you are gone but never forgotten!
Love,
Mike
