Leon H. Britton “Buster”

On July 8, 2023 of Chesapeake City, MD, formerly of Runnemede. Age 89. Beloved husband of the late Roberta C. Britton. Devoted father of Bobbe L. Britton (Jerry McCarthy) and Vickie A. Maley. Loving grandfather of Brittonie Lee Maley-Enochs (Nicholas). Dear brother of  Shirley Price, Edward “Butchie” Britton, Patricia Perry, and the late Gertrude Britton and Jeanette Schlosser. Loved by many nieces and nephews. He loved his Hollywood Beach Family.

Leon was an Army Veteran, earning the rank of Sargeant, while serving in the Korean War. He was also a paratrooper and jumpmaster. He worked many years as an automobile mechanic before owning his own business, selling autobody supplies, and retiring to Maryland. He enjoyed showing horses, boating, country music, cooking, and watching golf, horse racing, and his sports teams; especially the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens.

A memorial service will be held in the near future.
