I miss her. I cried after she died. When i was in 3rd grade she was my wonderful art teacher. We had many subs before she died.. I really liked how she would never really get mad at anybody at school. R.I.P. It was very hard for me to have her leave the earth.

I will always remember during one of our family gatherings Lauren , when she was a baby, just wanted to sit on my lap and spend the entire visit with me. One of the most amazing things I’ve experienced. Where she is now, Lauren is safe forever. Take care. God bless.

Lauren and I attended Rowan together. We were both working on special Ed certification. A short two years later Lauren was my son, Ben's kindergarten teacher. Ben is on the spectrum and was nonverbal when he started with Lauren. She was always so patient and helped in grow in so many ways. I will be forever grateful of the phone call I received from her to tell me Ben told her "no!" She knew what that meant to me. Rest in peace you were so very loved.

Our hearts are broken. Lauren was a beautiful person. She was a lovely niece. She was our flower girl and helped with her cousins Erin & Chas when they were small especially when we went to Ship Bottom Beach. She had a great sense of humor and a great laugh. She will missed but never forgotten. Love and hugs to Matt, Marissa and Brynn.

Makayla Thompson left a message on February 21, 2023:
I wish that she was here right now. There is no way heaven needs her more then we do. Art Club was the best but it’s not the same without her. I was one of her students and I would do anything for her to be here right now. She would always give me hugs and we never had our own personal joke that we couldn’t tell anyone. I know she is resting peacefully and that’s all that matters.

I’m here if you need anything at all. She was my dear friend and I love you all.

Matt and family my dearest sympathy is with all of you. I worked as a para at Hollyglen a bit ago with Lauren. She was an amazing teacher and friend. My fondest memories was a student who would never say Stavola just Vola. That went down in history that I always called her Vola after that. Sending hugs and prayers
Tom Myers left a message on February 20, 2023:
I remember when we hired her as a special needs teacher, so full of enthusiasm and creativity and was so kind and caring for each child in her care. I am so glad she followed her dream of “ formally” teaching Visual Arts to All of the children at HG. You truly never knew she had a bad day , especially after instructing some really challenging students. Her actions demonstrated a Christian attitude to ALL she came in contact with! Lauren will be so missed by all of the students and faculty of Holly Glen Elementary School! With my deepest sympathy, Tom Myers Principal Holly Glen Elementary School (Retired)
