Knox LaWayne Massengale

On September 6, 2016 of Franklinville. Age 76. Beloved husband of the late Charlotte. Devoted father of Kimberly Emlet (Donald), Deborah Travers (Steve) and Deanna Massengale. Loving grandfather of Nathan Emlet (Joy), Michael Emlet, Tate Emlet (Isabella), Steven Travers, Rebecca Travers and Liam Travers. Proud great-grandfather of Grace Murray, Hallie Murray, Lyric Knox Emlet and Florence Emlet.

Knox was born on August 19, 1940, in Cleburne, TX to the late Marshall and Stella (nee Thompson) Massengale. He proudly served his county in the US Army during the end of the Korean Conflict and the beginning of the Vietnam Era. He was a woodcrafter and artist and enjoyed fishing. His favorite thing to do was come home and spend time with his grandkids.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service 1:00 PM on October 1, 2016 at the Cross Keys Fellowship Church, 785 Berlin Road, New Oxford, PA. Interment New Oxford Cemetery, New Oxford, PA.
