Karen M. Carr-Barretto (nee Buono), on May 10, 2018, of Washington Twp. Age 56. Beloved wife of Paul. Loving mother of Kevin Carr, Ryan Carr (Meghan), Nina Carr, Matt Barretto and Alex Barretto. Cherished daughter of John and Edie (nee Agnes) Buono. Dear sister of Jane Nicoletto and Dina Giannini (Rich). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews and loving dog, Parkie.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation Saturday 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at SS Peter & Paul RC Church, 362 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral Mass 12:00 pm.

Rest in peace dear friend. I will hold you in my heart forever. To Mr. and Mrs. Buono, Jane and Dina, you were a second family to me as we shared so many treasured memories together. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. To Paul, Kevin, Ryan and Nina, I'm so sorry for your loss and am sending my heartfelt sympathy to all of you.

Karen had a wonderfull sense of humor. We worked together at Fort Detrick. I was very sad and stunned to hear of her passing. I can tell you she loved her babies! Rest in peace Karen.

I'm so sorry to learn of Karen's passing. She was a wonderful caring member in our emergency department. May she rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear this. Karen was a good friend and colleague when we worked together in Frederick, always with a great sense of humor and a tremendous amount of compassion for others. She will be missed.

I knew Karen from her work at the Child Advocacy Center in Frederick, Maryland. She was such a passionate champion for the children affected by child abuse and her work was so appreciated by many. Wishing peace and good memories to her loving family and friends.

Kevins, Nina and Ryan, I'm so shocked and so sad to see that Karen passed away. I remember really wonderful, funny times with her. She was one of the most passionate moms I ever met. I'm so sorry.
