Josephine V. Gallen (nee Milcarek), of Washington Twp. passed away peacefully in her home on January 17, 2025. Age 89. Married to James P. Gallen for 57 years before his passing in 2012. Devoted mother to James M., Michael W., and Stephen L. (Kathleen). Loving Babci to Jay, Sean (Sara), Zachary (Elise), and Kurt. Dear sister to the late Leonard and Vincent.

Josephine, to most she was known as Josie, was born and raised in Camden, NJ, and lived in Washington Twp for the last 52 years. She never missed an opportunity to be with her grandchildren and enjoyed attending all of their sports and academic achievements as they were growing up.

Being a part of “The Girls Club” made up of her dear sister-in law, Lorraine, loving nieces and their families gave her extreme joy to be included in all their gatherings and could hardly wait for the next one.
