Grandmom, miles separated us but you were always close in my heart. I am going to miss your visits and the wonderful conversations and stories we shared. You have touched my life and I hold you in my memories. Benjamin and Emily are sad you had to leave us but understand you are with God and are watching over them. You have made an impression on them and they will always remember and love Grandma Jo.

We are so sad at the loss of our Little Aunt Jo. We now have another angel in heaven. We will miss her humor, her love for cake but above all the love for all of us, her family. Finally in peace without any more suffering. Love you so, Donna

To my Little Aunt Jo, Not only were you the funniest, quirkiest, little freshie I knew, but you had the biggest and warmest heart of anyone who has been in my life. I appreciate all of your love and support to my mother and to us her children over the last 30 years. You will be dearly missed from not only our everyday lives but our now heavy hearts. Rest in peace and let them eat cake!

Aunt Jo, I feel lucky to have known you, even though it was for a brief time. You will truly live on forever not only in memories and our hearts but also in all of the wonderful qualities you have passed down to every member of your family. We all will miss you very much. Love, Matthew

We loved Josephine so much and were thankful we got to go to church with her for years at Washington Baptist. She enjoyed watching our son Jaden run around the church and also loved to raz me about my hair she just hated it when I shaved my head - "Why would you do that? You have such nice hair." Even though we moved to Michigan, I got to visit with her days before she moved out of her longtime house so weird to see that split-level empty and my family went to see her in Kennedy Hospital a year or so ago. Both of these were special visits and I got a wonderful photo of the two of us in Kennedy she looked GREAT even during a hospital stay. I loved her kindness, friendship and also her toughness what a fighter!! and will forever hold her memory dearly in my heart. Well done Jo, "thou good and faithful servant."
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
