Tracey Jenkins left a message on August 4, 2025:
I am so lost for words when I was younger I grew up with nothing but boy cousins who tortured me. It was rough being the only girl for the longest time, but as we grew older, Joey was the first to apologize to me for the way they treated me growing up. Joey was so kind and loving. I was happy when I seen him. He would always give me a hug and talk to me for a while I remember when he graduated high school I gave a speech. I remember spending summer nights as a child at his house. It’s just a shame as we get older you grow apart, but the love you have for a family member never changes. I will always remember the good and the bad times and you will be missed. Please give my dad a hug when you get up there. I know he’s at the gates waiting for you with your dad. Please watch over your mom Karen, your daughter and grandkids I love you. I will miss you. Wish I got to see you one more time.
