Joseph V. Cartafalsa,

On October 26, 2020, of Washington Twp.  Age 83.  Beloved husband of Rachel A. (nee Volpe).  Devoted father of Joseph W. (Kimberly). Loving grandfather of Olivia and Eric. Dear brother of the late Vincent, Angelo, Benedict, Scensi Neroni, Frances D’Alessandro, Eleanor Corrado, and Stella Colosino. Cherished brother-in-law of Deanna Doughterty (the late Jack). Loved by many nieces and nephews.

Joseph served honorably in the US Army for 4 years oversees.  He then spent all his working career as an automobile mechanic in the Philadelphia and N.J. area.  Joe and his wife of 56 years Rachel moved from Phila to N.J. later in life where he enjoy the rest of his retired time with his two grandchildren and good friends. He always enjoyed big family parties where he could surround himself with the people he loved.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday 8:00 – 9:30 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am at SS. Peter & Paul RC Church, 362 Ganttown Road, Turnersville, NJ 08012. Interment at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joseph’s memory to SS. Peter & Paul RC Church at the address above.
