Joseph Lauria

On November 23, 2024 of Woodbury. Age 76.  Husband of Patricia (nee Palange). Devoted father of Algina Lauria and Trisha Lauria. Loving grandfather of Jarrod, Andrew, Gabriella, and Bria. Dear brother of Linda Worrel (the late Jim), Antonia “Toni” Lauria-Kotzker (Michael), Regina Warner (Ted), and the late Donna Marie Brown (the late Edward).  Dear brother-in-law of Maria and John Edwards. Loved by many nieces and nephews. Survived by longtime friend Judi Mabry.

Joe was a long-time resident of Woodbury but was raised in Brooklawn & graduated from Gloucester High. After graduation Joe enlisted into the Air National Guard, where he would then become an Aviation Mechanic for the next 40 years, based out of Pomona, NJ. After he retired from the Guards, he spent his days chasing around his grandchildren after school. He also had a part time job working Eastern Auto Parts Warehouse.

Joe enjoyed the outdoors as well. He would spend his free time either golfing, grilling, boating or visiting the Jersey Shore. He was the ultimate Philly Sports fan, Eagles & Phillies season were two of his favorites. In between seasons you would find him watching a NASCAR Race.

Joe was blessed with huge heart & will be deeply missed by his loved ones.

Family and friends are welcome to attend his viewing Tuesday, December 3^rd 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 12:00 PM

In honor of Joe’s life, in lieu of flowers or other acts of sympathy, the family is requesting donations to the American Cancer Society.
