What a great man, person and someone i call friend. Some of he best times in my life was with Joe and his great family. He loved to joke and laugh and have fun. Getting me to help help joke with his sons, and family and friends. One time at one of the SJ Pumpokin Shows we was helping with, things got heated with one of the guest, when i was involved in a joke and heckling the guest in the pumpkin throwing contest. All in fun Joseph stated they hired a heckler so the guest would know. But it didn’t matter. One man guest was not having it from me heckling him. Things got heated. After trying to get the guest to calm down and walk away, we all talked about it and Joseph laughed. I stated to Joseph, look what you got me into now. What a mess. Then I started laughing and the others laughed as well, but we all were still surprised how things went and a little shook up. I didn’t mind. I enjoyed joining in on Joesph’s jokes and watching him laugh. Jospeh asked me many times to joke with his sons. One time at the indoor soccer arena that Joseph had a business event, he asked me to yell at his son Anthony on the fork lift and to tell him to get off as he didn’t know what he was doing. I agreed and we both laughed as i started to walk towards Anthony. There were other people and vendors around as i yelled loudly at Anthony driving the forklift. I put my head down so he would not see my face. I was yelling and making a big seen and waving my arms around acting upset and mad. Saying get of the forklift you do not know how to use it. You are tearing things up. And asking if he had training and a license to drive the forklift. Anthony Stopped and look at me and was mad and started to say some words and jumped off the forklift headed at me and i was still walking towards him. I keep it up and then leafed my head at I got closer. I seen Anthony face and he was mad and ready to fight, I stated laughing and then Anthony Seen it was me, and smiled and said it is you. I said your dad put me up to it. Anthony Laughed and I laughed and Joseph was laughing so hard and having a great time playing a joke on his son. They are like family to me. I will miss Joseph. I wish he could still be around and get me involved in playing a joke on someone. Prayers to the family and love ones hearts that will hurt and have a void from not having this great funny and joy to be with man around. I know I will.

I'm going to miss my friend terribly, his sense of humor, dedication to his family and the long talks we had about life, our shared veteran status and what it was like being a yankee living down south. He was a man among men and I pray when my time comes that I can face the end of my life with the bravery and fortitude he showed. He was a United States Marine right to the end. Jersey Joe, till Valhalla Brother..
