Joseph Louis Penn, born on June 16, 1931, passed away on November 6, 2021. Joseph passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Dominic and Mary Penn and his wife, Charlotte Smith Penn. Survivors include his 3 children, Joanne Palmer, Joseph A. Penn and Dominic L. Penn. Joseph is survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Also, many thanks to his special friend and caregiver, Sarah Merritt.

Joseph joined the United States Army upon graduating from Camden County High School in 1950. Joseph served his country overseas until 1954. At this time, his career began with Camden County Government until his retirement in 1990.

Joseph enjoyed travelling to various places, seeing the sites, having fun with his family, playing the trumpet and listening to music. Joseph had a love for animals and enjoyed his dogs during his life and watching animals in nature.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family, Monday from 9:00 – 10:30 am at Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral Service 10:30 am. Interment and military honors will take place at the Gloucester County Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
