Joseph H. Della Vecchia, age 70, of Glassboro passed on February 17, 2014. Beloved husband of Loretta (nee Cardullo). Loving father of Maria Ganor (Tom), Joseph C., Paula and Lisa. Joseph H. Della Vecchia, age 70, of Glassboro passed on February 17, 2014. Beloved husband of Loretta (nee Cardullo). Loving father of Maria Ganor (Tom), Joseph C., Paula and Lisa. Devoted grandfather of Sophia, Luciano and Renee. Dear brother of Anthony (Jacqueline). He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Friday 8:30 – 10:30 am at EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 11:30 am at St. Bridget’s RC Church. Glassboro. Interment Gloucester County Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph’s memory may be made to Stand Down Veterans Association of South Jersey, 11 Thornhill Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08003.

Joe was my cousin "Joey" and my Godfather. Joe always remembered me on special days and even though I had moved out to Michigan many years ago, any time I was in town and had a chance to visit, Joe and Loretta always were quick to have me and my family over for dinner. In the great Italian tradition we ate well and usually too much!!
Joey will be missed and Joe, Loretta and the family will be in our prayers.
