Mary, It is with a heavy heart that I send my condolences to you and your family on your dad's passing. Joe was a good man, friend & co-worker of many of us at Philadelphia Electric Company/PECO. We all shared many occasions working at PECO. Memories of the Dinners, Picnics, we will all hold onto tightly. Even as co-workers retired, like your dad many years ago, we stayed in touch with each other. To this day, we have shared an annual PECO Christmas Luncheon every year for many many years, with the exception of 2020 due to Covid-19. There was also a small group of PECO retirees that met for lunch about every other month. I was a late comer to that lunch. Was able to join them in 2013 when I retired. Both lunches were always a great time to gather & remanence & have a few good laughs. I continue to be blessed with having a PECO connection with active & retired co-workers. Working with your dad was a joy, so easy going & always had a smile waiting for ya. I was also saddened to learn of your mom's passing in January. I did get to visit with them when they were at Cardinal Village. Your mom was a sweet person too & funny. I am blessed to have had them in my life. You and your family are in my prayers to day & the days ahead. Rest In Peace, Joe & Pat, you will truly be missed. Thanks for the memories! Sue Campbell

It is heartbreaking when we lose a loved one. I had the pleasure to take care of Mr Joe and his wife Mrs Pat, when she passed away over 2 months ago, I solely took care of Mr Joe. He was such a kind-hearted man that help me when I needed help, he would come in the kitchen or living room and always help me clean up. He was so funny and loved to talk about his Philadelphia Eagles and watch his game shows. Mr. Joe will talk to my daughter on FaceTime and give her some good advice . Mr Joe, loved spaghetti and meatballs ?and ice cream was his favorite as well he will make sure to remind me about it at 5:30pm. Mr Joe was a caring, loving man that was so kind to me and I will miss him dearly, heaven has truly gain a beautiful angel. We surely belong to God and to him we shall return. Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs. ... and my deepest condolences to the family. Love Althea & Family ??❤️??
