Uncle Joey, I hope you are feeling better and at peace. Thank you for the memories of the first time I baited a fishing line and casted it to catch my first load seaweed all off the rocks in Brigantine. The first time you showed me how to hold a chicken and chase off Oscar the rooster. And I’ll never forget my first dirt bike ride through the woods. My mom would’ve freaked out. And how about when we launched the model rocket and had to go searching in the woods only to find it stuck in the tallest tree on your farm. Me and my dad had a great time that day. And I wish I would’ve caught one of those frogs in your stream. They were HUGE!! It was a lot of fun for me to come to your farm and just have fun spending time with you. I am going to miss you Uncle Joey! Rest in peace. I love you!!! :
Love, Robert P. McKinley

I love you Uncle Joey. Rest in peace. We will always love you!
JOEY WAS A VERY CARING AND LOVING GUY. ALWAYS READY TO HELP SOMEONE WHEN NEEDED. AS A CHLD HE WAS A BIT STUBBORN, WHEN HE WAS 6,A RING BEARER AT MY WEDDING IN 1958, HE DID NOT WANT TO BE IN ANY PICTURES & WE HAD TO CHASE HIM TO BE IN SOME, BUT WITH A FROWN ON HIS FACE. R.I.P.LOVE AUNT ROSIE
Joe was a special person; a son, a brother, a husband, a father, an uncle, a cousin, and a grandpop. And, in all his many roles he was always a good friend and true supporter.
Joe did things his way, but always in doing for others. Joe was hard headed, but hard working. Joe was someone I always looked up to growing up.
We will all miss him, but we are all better for having him touch our lives in various ways.
Rest in peace Joe!
Love - Cousin Tom
Joey was the hippest cousin a girl could ever have--I thought his suede jacket with long fringes was the bomb circa 1966. Once he met Teci my adoration continued to grow--they were "the" couple and they made my teenage trip to Canada so cool! Later Joey was the most adorable husband and father and he and Teci sent out precious birth announcements with the birth of each of their beautiful daughters I saved all of them. Joey marched to his own drum and if you were lucky enough you got to join his fantastic drum line and feel the beat. Love and Peace your cousin Marguerite and family
Joe was a kind and loving person who loved his family. He was sensitive, strong and was life of the party. I remember when I was about five yrs old, when I went Uncle Joe's house, I would run toward the door and cousin Joey would life me up into the air and spin me around and catch me! Joe was alot of fun and very caring. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Cousin Joey has touched our lives and will be greatly missed. God bless you!
I'm so sorry for your loss. I will keep you in my prayers

I know the last few years between us were just so off but that doesn't mean I didn't think about you all the time or that I didn't love you - today is the day you would have me or one of the girls get mom flowers and a card while you picked out some beautiful jewerly for her to wear and then make us all eat Chinese Food. Mom is thinking of her wedding day and the four daughters you gave her - the girls and I are remembering so many good times today and the love we did see between you 2. Today you go to the farm and it is where you belong and I know you want to be. Watch over Mom and the girls and your grandbabies - you are forever missed please believe that.
My family and I wanted to make sure that everyone knows they are welcomes to today's service to help celebrate dad's life
Our prayers are with you during this difficult time.
To The DeFinis Family,
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of sorrow. Stand strong together and you will help each other through this. Please let me know if I can do anything to help.
