Jim, we are very sad to hear of the passing of your dad. He was a true gentlemen and I will always remember seeing him up in the stands, proudly wearing his Heat jersey and rooting you and the Heat on. He was always respectful to everyone and I know he will always be with you in life and on the ice... RIP Chris Eskridge / Blues Hockey Team

Jim, I was very sorry to hear about your Dad. I think everyone enjoyed seeing him in the stands at the Heat games as well as his greetings as we came off of the ice. He will be missed. I hope the Heat Hockey wreath brightened your day a bit. George Hayes

Thank you sir for the dedicaton and education you offered to your community while in service at The Whitman Square Volunteer Fire Company #1. When I am called to duty, God whenever flames may rage, Give me the strength to save some life Whatever be its age. Help me to embrace a little child Before it’s too late, Or some older person from the horror of that fate. Enable me to be alert And hear the weakest shout, And quickly and efficiently to put the fire out. I want to fill my calling and give the best in me, To guard my neighbor And protect his property. And if according to Your will I have to lose my life, Please bless with Your protecting hand My children and my wife

Jimmy, on behalf of the Blue Devils, I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the Connor family on the passing of your dad. He truly was a fixture in the stands...an avid hockey fan. It was so nice to see him there whether you played with us or against us. And like Eddie said earlier ...he always had a kind word. A man's legacy is his children and through them he lives on. God Bless.

I am saddened by the lose of such a great man. Pop was like the 12 man when we played. He was there rain or shine. He will be sadly missed but not forgotten. I will always have great memories of him . Brian Gross

My condolences to the Connor family on the passing of Pop. The bond between Mr. Connor and Jim was apparent. I’m not sure I’ve seen a more caring or more dedicated son than Jim and I know that can be attributed to his parents. Obviously, Pop was a huge supporter of the Heat hockey team and we all loved seeing him at every game. Come to think of it Pop had probably seen me play more times than my own parents. I’ll remember Pop for his youthful energy, great attitude and positive support. Rob Connelly
