Joseph E. Neville
On September 25, 2024, of Washington Twp. Age 80. Beloved husband of Kathleen D. (nee McGuigan). Devoted father of Christine Weaver (Joseph) and Frank Neville (Rose). Loving grandfather of Joseph, Rebecca, and Samantha.
Joe was a union painter in District Council 21 out of Philadelphia for over 50 years, having even spent some time as the president of the council.
He was a very generous man who would give you the shirt off of his back. He believed wholeheartedly that caring for family and friends is the true calling of a man.
He loved saltwater fishing and playing chess. He liked to collect German steins, coins, stamps, and pocketknives. He was a wonderful chef/cook, and he really loved to show off his culinary skills to family and friends alike, either at the big parties he used to like to put together, or more intimate dinners for small gatherings.
He liked the Phillies and was a WW2 history buff. Joe will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, whose generous nature was second to none, whether it be a homeless stranger on the street, or a loved one, it didn’t matter, he believed in helping people out and he will be missed.
Joseph’s life will be celebrated with a visitation Wednesday 9:30-11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. At 11:00 AM there will be a time of sharing thoughts, memories, prayers and love offered by family and friends.
