My deepest sympathy to the Schneider family. I had the pleasure of working with Jack at IBM and will always remember his keen intellect, sharp wit and ability to make people feel like any problem was solvable. He will be greatly missed.

Jack's a my path crossed many years ago while serving the same client. I got to know him as a deep expert with excellent knowledge  of the client, his area of expertise and of course his colleagues and friends. There was not a question he couldn't answer, there was not a challenge  he couldn't master. He always stayed focused and even in difficult times he was calm and to the point. We will miss him. My sincere condolences to the family.

Pat, I was shook to the core, when Joe Kraft let me know Jack had passed. Jack sent me this photo of our team at IBM in 2018 taken in the early '90s. We had a nice chat about old times. Most of the success we had while working as a team can be attributed to him. He was my technical partner, but also a true friend. I know though that he valued his family above all else. Please accept Steph and my deep condolences. Jeremy

Patty and Jack....so so sad to hear this news. Jack was top notch in so many ways......but most importantly as a friend and a person. He spoke glowingly of you, Jack and Patty during the many years I worked with him at IBM. He was so vey proud of both of you. Will certainly be keeping both of you in my thoughts and prayers.....
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Jack was one of my favorite cohorts in the days at IBM Services. His bass guitar visited my basement jam sessions several times, which provided a unique and delightful view into Jack's personality, passions and talent. I am saddened by his passing, knowing the gap others must feel. A true individual, a great guy and a valued friend for years. Rest peacefully, dear friend.

Patty and family, I'm sorry that I will not be able to make the memorial service on Tuesday. I was really heartbroken when I first heard the news but then started thinking about all of the great times I spent with Jack and the rest of the IBM crew and it brought a smile to my face. Jack and the rest of his IBM posse treated me as if I were a co-worker. We spent more than a few evenings out to dinner and talking shop. It sounds boring but we always had a good time. I'm happy that I was able to make the lunch with you all two summers ago as that was the last I saw Jack. This world is a better place because of Jack and he will be remembered fondly.

Simply stated, Jack was "The Man". Always supportive and collaborative in a business environment, welcoming and enjoyable socially. While I appreciated all of our conversations the most recent ones were special as we shared our passion for guitars. His positive attitude was infectious, I am a better person for having know him personally and professionally.

Patty and Jack Jr.: I have so many fond memories of Jack, our time together, travel together, working side by side for almost 25 years that I don't know where to begin. I have photos to share and will do so once I get on my laptop of our trips to Germany, time in the SMS office with the team etc . My thoughts and prayers go out to you all for your loss. Love Scott
