John C. Hoenge, Sr., on December 29, 2012, with his loving wife Gloria (nee Pipitone), dear children John, Jr. and his wife Heide and Gloria Jean Sims and her husband Glen, and beloved grandchildren Jenny, Jamie and Zachary at his side. His many nieces, nephews and other family members will miss him dearly.
John was employed by Cutler Metal in Camden and also was a tile setter before going to work in the Maintenance Department of the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years. He was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and hunting. He was a member of the Square Circle. John played baseball for the NY Yankees farm club before being drafted into the Korean War and proudly serving our country in the US Army.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday 7:00 – 9:00 pm and Thursday 8:15 – 9:15 am at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp, Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10:00 am at The Church of the Holy Family, Washington Twp. Entombment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
