John Audio, on May 22, 2018, of Washington Twp. Age 76. Beloved husband of 50 years of Mary (nee Boldezar). Devoted father of Regina, John, Jr. (Patricia), Christopher (Tina), Ann Laning (David), Joseph (Heidi), Michael (Lindsay), Thomas, and Caroline (Ian). Loving grandfather of John, III, James, Michael, Carly, Stacia and Scarlett. Dear brother of Catherine Toto.
John was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School and the University of Pennsylvania. He established Master Bakery (previously Black Horse Pike) with his family. He was a founding member of the Washington Twp. Ambulance Association from 1960 -1974 and was also a member of the Washington Twp. School Board in 1972 and the Retail Bakers Association. He was a “Best of Class” winner for the Pillsbury Corporation US Bakers Bake-off Competition in 1969.
John’s interest included gardening, visiting historical sites, stamp and coin collecting, watching old classic movies on tv. He especially enjoyed telling stories, family dinners and Sunday dinner for 25 every week at his home.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday 10:15 – 11:45 AM at SS. Peter & Paul RC Church, 362 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:45 AM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made to SS Peter & Paul RC Church, “Catholic Strong Campaign” 362 Ganttown Rd., Turnersville, NJ 08012.
