Joe you are now in Heaven telling everyone let's sing the show must go on?You will be missed?
Linda
My cousin Terry was one of the kindest, sweetest, selfless people I've ever known. I don't think I ever heard him say a bad thing about anyone.
Terry was the oldest cousin. Me being the next to the youngest cousin, I didn't get to know him as long as my other cousins we had probably 20 years age difference.
I am blessed for having gotten to know him these past 20 years or so.
Terry was always my big cousin, Terry.
I didn't know the half of his achievements, notoriety and stardom.
He remains my big cousin Terry.
Terry, Vicki and Raymond, I knew you as children. Unfortunately I never got to know or even meet your dad's grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Hopefully, one day that will change.
I will miss the late night conversations with Terry on Facebook. he was a great confidante, indeed.
My deepest condolences to you all.

Condolences to the Terranova family from a fan who has remained connected to the splendid past through the time machine called music. Terry and the boys created so many memories, and will be remembered for their important contributions.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
I'm very sorry about the loss of your loved one. Remember the Bible's promise at Revelation 21: 3, 4. May Jehovah comfort you during this difficult time.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Terry. Going to Shaw Jr. High in the same class as Danny , I have so many happy memories of my teen years. Terry was a big part of that. I saw him a few years ago when he was doing a benefit in the Northeast and we spoke. May he rest in peace. A good man gone too soon.

My prayers are with the entire Terranova family during this sad time.
My heart goes out to the terranova family, growing up as one of ray’s best friends and spending a lot of time at rays, his dad was always a gentleman and treated us really good, and letting us chill in his home studio in the basement. Memories. My prayers are with you Ray and the family. RIP to a musical icon.
Rest in the Lord's arms for eternity my old friend.
I remember when we made the movie "Let's Rock" for Columbia Pictures in 1958 when our records "At the Hop" and "Short Shorts" were on the Top Ten List on American Bandstand. We were all about 16 years of age then.
We connected again in 2009 or was it 2010 in Clarksburg, West Virginia at the Italian Heritage Festival. I had moved there from LA to be near my Italian family...and you were appearing in the show. We had over an hour to "catch up" and I brought photos I had taken of you and the guys when we appeared together. How special that was after over 50 years of not seeing each other.
My deepest sympathy to the family....from a dear old friend.
Joe never quit. Thank You Joe.
I'm so happy our paths crossed so many times and I was blessed to get to know you, and Frank and Bobby. You were a fun person and you sure loved a crawfish boil.
I could name dozens of artists and records from the late 50's era that have been gone since then and are long forgotten. But Danny and the Juniors have been played on stations every day since that time and will be as long as there is music.
Rock & Roll is here to stay. ... it will never die. The same for Danny & the Juniors.
R.I.P my brother. Rock dem angels.

I knew Joe for about 40 years and he was always a true gentleman. We shared a lot of laughs during those years, the last being 2 weeks ago at Westbury Music Fair. They were a special group with iconic songs that defined rock n roll. We will all miss him. Dick Fox
It was an honor to work with Joe, and get to know him. I will never forget him.
You’ll always be remembered as one of the good guys. A stellar performer and a fine gentleman. You’ll be sadly missed.
My heart is broken for my dearest friend/sister Joan at the passing of her loving brother and my friend, Terry. I am so saddened by this while remembering all the fun times we had together since the 60's. Terry was always so kind and thoughtful and fun to be around. I know you are with mom and dad, Denny and all those who have gone before you who now greet you with open arms. Heaven is making some fabulous music right about now. Rest In Peace with the angels Ter!
Condolences for the rest of the family as well.
I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing over. He was a wonderful man and performer.
Prayers to comfort his family and friends. ???
I love the song At the Hop! One of my favorite all time songs! Rip, you will be sadly missed Mr. Terranova! Prayers to your family and friends!
I met Joe in 1991 when Danny and the Juniors came to my hometown. After the show, they judged a 50s lookalike contest and I was dressed as Buddy Holly. They let me play two songs and I won dinner with them that evening. I played a couple of shows with them a couple of years later. It was Joe who invited me to perform. Rest in Peace Joe and thanks for 60+ years of great music and an experience that I will never forget.
May Our condolences bring you comfort and may our prayers ease the pain of your loss. May God give Terry eternal life.
Love Bobby and Linda Maffei
Met Joe 40 years ago at one of his performances with the Juniors. Since that time we have been close friends and occasional companions having lunch together and speaking on the phone. I just spoke with him only four days ago and we reminisced about the era of the 50's & 60's along with the ups and downs of life in general. He and the Juniors were one of the few groups that I consider "the roots of Rock & Roll." I will miss him greatly and my deepest sympathy to his family, group members, especially Frank M., his many close friends, and fans. Ron V.
Thoughts and Prayers to all of Joe's Family ,Will miss Joe's stories on "Rock and Roll is here to stay the Radio show " with Frank on saturdays .Watched them a lot on bandstand back in 58 when I was 5 . At the Hop and Rock and Roll is here to stay to me are the anthems Rock and Roll ,Thanks Joe for helping to make it happen.
My heart, condolences and prays go out to his family and friends. I had the pleasure of meeting Joe and the group in Harrisburg, PA many years ago. They came and sat at our table and talked to me and my mom for a long time. My mom talked for years about how pleasant and kind Joe was to her. He will be missed by many. A music icon, so very talented. Heaven just added a new member to their rock and roll band.

We (The Angels) have known Joe for many years. We’ve done numerous shows together and have always considered him not only a talented performer but a friend. ??Rest in peace Joe.
I was so saddened to read this news Monday. I only met Joe once at a benefit, and meeting him made my night. He introduced me to some of the people there and called me B SIDE girl since I loved SOMETIMES and a SCHOOL BOY ROMANCE, b sides of two of the best songs! He will be missed by so many, and I'm so sorry for the loss of Joe. May God bless the family!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
I had the privilege of working with Joe and the Boys in Branson at American Bandstand Theatre. He was as incredible onstage as off, and I loved the stories and the photos and the memories he shared. My heart is broken and I miss you already my friend ! Thanks for the memories and may you Rest In Peace.
I am so sorry. Prayers go out to all his family and friends. Joe was a great guy. Did shows with him years ago with Hy Lit. He will always be remembered. RIP
My sincere condolences to the Terranova family. I had the privilege to be invited to a dinner with Mr. Terranova, Mr. Maffei, and Harvey Holiday, Tommy McCarthy and Oil Can from WOGL 10 or so years ago. I’d be hard pressed to find a more welcoming and interesting host. Having no connection to the music industry, just a loyal oldies fan, the discussion at that table that night has made a life-long impression. Thank you, Mr. Terranova, for a lifetime memory. God bless you and your family.
LETTER FROM HEAVEN
To my dearest family, some things i'd like to say, but first of all, to let you know that I arrived okay. I'm writing this from Heaven. Here I dwell with God above. Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love. Please do not be unhappy, just because I'm out of sight. Remember that I am with you every morning, noon, and night.
That day I had to leave you, when my life on earth was through, God picked me up and hugged me and He said "I'll welcome you. It's good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone, as for your dearest family, they'll be here later on. I need you here badly, you're part of my plan, there's so much that we have to do, to help mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wishes for me to do, and foremost on his list, was to watch and care for you, and when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight, God and I are close to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth and all those loving years, because you are only human, there are bound to bring you tears. But do not be afraid to cry, it does relieve the pain, remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish I could tell all what God has planned. If I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand. But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is over, I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before. There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb; but together we can do it taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too, that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you. If you can help somebody, who is in sorrow and in pain; then you can say to God at night....."My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented...that my life was worth while, knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile. So, if you meet somebody that is sad and low, just lend a hand to pick them up, upon your way to go.
When you are walking down the street and you've got me on your mind; I'm walking in your footsteps only a half a step behind.
And when it's time for you too from your body to be free, Remember you're not going......You're coming here to me.
My dear friend ❤️ I will miss you very much,as a performer and a golfing buddy.Condolensenses to the family, with a broken heart,
Joe was a dear friend. I am honored to have known him. I'm sure he is up in Heaven still singing "At the Hop"....his music will always be in my heart. He was a Rock 'n Roll Leader who helped forge the way to make rock 'n' roll acceptable. Joe made a difference in this world in many ways. I was his fan on American Bandstand and will continue to be his fan forever. God Bless you and your family!!! And God Bless you, Frank.
