On November 19, 2010, of Cape May Courthouse. Age 36. Beloved wife of Jason. Loving daughter of William and Judith Burns nee McGovern. Dear sister of Lori O’Brien John and Scott Burns Lisa. Loving granddaughter of Lauretta Burns. Devoted aunt of John, Anthony, Valori, Michael, Shawn, Shannon, Kylee, Julia, Devon, Joss, Ryan and Shawn. Dear daughter-in-law of Susan Cianfrani Thomas and Stephen Hynes Patricia Martin, sister-in-law of Shawn and Lori Hynes, niece of Sherry Reiss George and cousin of Jennifer Tomeo Toby and Heather McKellick Bob.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Life Celebration 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment private.

To the Family of Jodi L. Hynes, So sorry to learn about the lost of your Dear Loved One, Jodi. Please know that so many people share your grief with you to help you through this difficult time of sorrow. Please accept my deepest condolences as we await the time when Christ Jesus will awaken all of those who have fallen asleep in death; including your beloved, Jodi. John 11:41-44

Jodi, always such a positive person and an inspiration! Despite all she was facing, she always asked about how I was doing. She will definitely be missed. Jay, I am so glad we were able to all have dinner together in august, thank you.

Dear Jay and all of Jodi’s family and close friends, Words seem inadequate in explaining how much Jodi will be missed. I feel blessed having been able to share some wonderful times with her both in college and after. She handled herself with such grace during her battle with cancer and never wanted her friends to worry about her. Jodi will remain alive in our memories and admiration.

My sincerest condolences to Jodi's husband, family and all those close to her. The world has lost a social worker that gave so much to her clients. Her genuine sincerity for those suffering with mental illness and their families will not be forgotten. She will be missed.

The last time that Jodi and I spoke, I sat in her big and very comfortable chair in her office. We talked about her PET scans and the troubling reports which she had received. Jodi was a beautiful and genuine person. She provided so much support to me during my challenge with Melanoma and I will always be grateful for her understanding and encouragement. It will take some time before the reality of her death hits home. It still feels so surreal. Her smile will forever be my lasting impression of her. Thank you Jodi for showing us courage, compassion and determination. You taught all of us valuable lessons in the time we knew you.

Jodi was a beautiful young woman who was very true and genuine to herself and others. She lit up the room and atmosphere with her smiling presence. Jodi was a tremendous help to our community and the mental health field. She has touched more people's lives then she will ever know. You will be truly missed Jodi and my deepest sympathy to your family and friends who I know are in an incredible amount of pain right now. Jodi was one of the warmest and positive people that I have had the privilege to know. She always had a smile and a kind work for everyone that she came in contact with. Where do I start...Im sitting here crying and thinking what an absolutely wonderful person you are...Jodi you will be missed...I feel like I went through your entire illness with you...In the 3 years you have been comining to me to get your lab work done you have shared so much with me...You always talked about your husband and family...You were always in good spirits...I can honestly say I have never ever seen you ready to give up your fight...Every time you came to see me I would say a prayer for your recovery and I would think to myself how we were the same age...I can't tell you how heart broken I am right now...I really thought you would beat this...Im so sorry for your families loss...You were a very special person...This is the one thing about my job thats hard...Saying goodbye to someone so special like you...You will always be in my heart girl...May God bring peace to you and your family...RIP Jodi ♥
