Joanne Scimeca

(nee Maddaloni) On March 10, 2021 of Williamstown.  Age 79.  Beloved wife of Augustine J. Scimeca.  Devoted mother of Anthony (Lisa) and Samuel (Rose) Scimeca.  Loving grandmother of Samuel, Jr., Michael, Daria, Patricia, Anthony, Jr., Gianna, and Alyssa.  Proud great-grandmother of Travis.  Loving daughter of the late Anthony and Dolly Maddaloni.  Dear sister of the late Joseph (Roe) Maddaloni.  Sister-in-law of Frank Scimeca.  Loved by nieces and nephews.

Joanne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  Born in Philadelphia, PA but has resided in Williamstown, NJ for the past 23 years.  Member of the first four year graduation class of St. Maria Goretti High School in South Philadelphia (1959).  Long time bank teller for First Pennsylvania and Mellon Bank.  Enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great nieces and nephews.  She enjoyed sittin by her niece’s pool with family.  Joanne was extremely interested in what was happening in everyone’s life.  She always said to be happy and to enjoy life.  Joanne loved to joke around. Her personality and contagious laugh always lit up the room .  Joanne loved playing the slots in Atlantic City and spending time with her family at the Jersey shore.  Joanne had a heart of gold and will be missed tremendously.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday 9:00-10:30 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp.  Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM at SS Peter & Paul RC Church, Washington Twp.  Entombment, New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
