Joanne E. Maloney
On September 4, 2020, of Washington Twp. Age 78. Beloved wife of Michael. Devoted mother of Elizabeth Gilmore (Barry) and Anthony Maloney (Maureen). Proud grandmother of Gabrielle, Nicholas, Liam, Hayley, Peter and Genavieve. Loving sister of Ralph Colaberdino (Maureen).
Although we are saddened that God has brought Joanne home, we are eternally grateful that He gave us the most beautiful, caring, and loving mother for all of these years.> Joanne loved her family dearly, doted excessively on her six grandchildren, and made the most of the life God granted. She made the best red sauce for pasta, escarole soup, pizzelles, and Jewish apple cake. She never forgot a birthday or holiday, always sending a card, or if you were sick, a get well note (some would say she kept Hallmark in business).
She was a devoted wife to Mickey, a wonderful sister to her brother Ralph, an incredible Mother-in-Law to Barry & Maureen, a loving Aunt, Cousin and Friend. Our mother had an unrelenting faith, always saying her prayers. She loved our Mother Mary, and always wore her Miraculous medal. She loved ice cream, eating out at a good restaurant, amaretto, and Frank Sinatra. She had a beautiful smile, a wonderful laugh and a warm welcoming hug. Her kindness and generous heart were ever-present for us all to see.
Our mother touched so many. We love you Mom.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday from 8:15 -10:15 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at the Church of The Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Rd, Washington Twp.
Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.egizifuneral.com.

We ask that if anyone of our Family & Friends has been exposed to the virus in the last 14 days, or if you are showing COVID-19 symptoms, or recently travelled to an area or state with high Covid-19 infection rates, to please celebrate Joanne’s life at home. Also, if anyone is in a high-risk category, please do not feel obligated to come to this event. Your health and safety are most important to us. Joanne would not want anyone to take a risk on her behalf, or to create risk for anyone else. We all know this, She loved us all so much – she wants us all to stay safe.
