All to soon for Joanie to go but what a legacy she left behind in her Children! They are as beautiful as she was. She fought a good fight but God must have needed her in his gallery. He got a beautiful and loving Angel! She is whole now and we here have to deal with a hole in our hearts. She is at peace and has ALL of her family and friends in her arms! God bless all of you in your sadness! You are Loved!

There should be a heart there not question marks!
My Condolences to her family, even after losing touch with her in high school but reconnecting with facebook, she will always have a place in my heart, she has been so strong and has gotten me through some tough times with her words and her strength. I have nothing but nice things to say of her. I hope she will find the peace she so much deserves. She will always be on my mind, she has definitely been a true inspiration to many off us. I will continue to pray for John and her children as well as the rest of her family! God Bless!
A million megawatt smiles, a zillion laughs, a billion happy memories, and lots of hugs and snuggles...those are our memories of my beautiful niece Joanie. Her life force is so strong that I still feel her hand in mine. I hope that feeling never goes away. She is our champ, and a shining star. Joanie, we will do our best to soldier on...because of your example. Love you forever. Aunt Sandee (Hug)
Dear Wilson and Kunicki families,
I'm so sorry for your loss. May the love and support of your many friends and family members help to heal your broken hearts. My prayers are with you. Love to you all.

Words can not express how sorry I am for your loss. You can't think of Joan without seeing that beautiful lively smile she always had on her face. Back in HS, when most of us girls were involved in some sort of drama, Joan was just bouncing around full of laughter and smiles. Her fun loving personality was infectious. I never met a person who didn't like her. From the way it sounds, she never changed. I hope that her family takes comfort in the fact that Joan had a positive impact on everyone who knew her. I have no doubt that Joan is up in heaven smiling down on her loved ones. She is finally free of the pain and worrying. Her strong spirit will help all those who love her get through this difficult time.
My memories of Joan go back to high school. She was so much fun-- and had a smile that could light up a room. After getting back in touch thru facebook-- she always amazed me with her strength and courage. She will be missed. Prayers to John and the family. xoxo
My deepest condolences to the Kunicki and Wilson families. I will always remember Joan as a bright shining star in the midst of any family party I have ever been to. My heart breaks for your incredible loss. May she shine down upon her children, husband, family and friends until you meet her once again.
I remember years ago when my cousin Ed married her cousin Heather and everyone told me about this girl that reminded them so much of me and me of her. I couldn't wait to meet her and when I did I thought "What a compliment! If I am anything like she is, then I am doing pretty good!"
I pray that I will always have the love and support, grace and strength that Joan has had in this life for as long I am blessed to be here.
Rest in Peace beautiful Joanie, you are someone that anyone would aspire to be like and would be blessed to have known. I know I am.
All my love, Judi Scoleri

She was a true inspiration to fight till the end - all with wearing a fabulous smile! For as much as she had going on in her own life she always made the time to ask about how things were with me and my family. I am going to miss our texts - just that little xoxoxo that we'd send back and forth would always put a smile on my face! Keep watch over your family! You have an amazing team over there! They are what true family bond is made of!!!! Till we meet again....love ya beautiful angel! Xoxoxo

Beautiful girl, I know you are looking down on us with that radiant smile. You are proud of your family and the way they are being strong, just like you. No doubt you will be missed every single day, but you will live on through your family and friends. We each have a piece of you within us and you've helped mold us into better people. Memories of our 30 year friendship help me smile. My dad used to say that you only get a few true friends in life. You were mine. I love you my dear friend.

We watched Joan grow up to be the beautiful young woman that she will always be in our hearts. All of us who had the pleasure of knowing her, will never forget her. When you think of Joan, you will think first of her smile. Kathy and Chuck
Dear John and family,
Words cannot express how deeply sorry we are for losing such a beautiful, inspirational, loving and courageous person that Joan was. Joan and your family will always hold a special place in my families heart. As Joan battled her own fight she did not for one moment think twice about offering help as my daughter was going through a rough time with a new diagnosis herself. I am so glad we were able to truly have met this most beautiful person who is now an angel. Rest in peace Joan. I wish for peace, love and happiness for your children, John, and the rest of your family. May they fill that void with beautiful memories of you and may you watch over them to guide them. You will be missed. XOXO
