Joan L. Kelley

(nee Smiley) On January 26, 2025 of Washington Twp. Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Devoted mother of Joseph Kelley (Alexandra), Drew Kelley (Dorothy), and Stephen Kelley (Michelle). Loving grandmother of Stephen Jr. (Amber), Caitlin (Peter), Rachel, Jennifer (Jon), Devin, and Francesca. Proud great-grandmother of Phoenix, Fallyn, Aubrey, and Emily. Dear sister of Judy Mangino (Gerry), the late Barbara Mull (the late George), and the late David Smiley (Judy). Loved by many nieces and nephews.

Joan was born and spent most of her life in Southwest Philadelphia. She was married for more than 53 years until passing of beloved husband in 2007.

She attended John Bartram high school and was recognized as a “notable graduate “during the school’s 50th anniversary program. Joan loved going to any casino and enjoyed going to lunch and attending plays with her lady friends and was member of the Red Hat Society.

She owned and operated a successful Pest Control company in Philadelphia for many years. Her favorite past time was reading and watching Hallmark channel movies.

She loved being with her grand children and great grandchildren and visiting with friends and family members. She loved watching and talking about Eagles games. She had a wonderful music box collection.

Family and friends are welcome to attend her visitation Friday, February 7^th 10:30 – 11:30 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan’s memory may be made to The American Red Cross or the Wounded Warrior Project.
