Joan I. Keagy

January 13, 1944 – July 18, 2022

(nee Constantino) On July 18, 2022 at the age of 78, of Washington Twp., formerly of  Merchantville. Dear mother of Scott Keagy (Deborah) and Bryan Keagy. Dear sister of Margaret Herman. Loving grandmother of Taylor Marie.

Joan grew up in Philadelphia and moved to New Jersey when she met and married her true love, Fred, who suddenly passed away in 1976. With the sudden passing of her husband, she began a new life for many years as a blackjack dealer at Bally’s Casino.

In 1990, Joan took over as owner of M&M Liquors in Pennsauken, NJ. Joan thrived there, owning her own business and made many friends with her customers. In 2004, Joan decided owning her own business and working 7 days a week was becoming too much and she sold the store. Her last job was working at Super G grocery store. It was that job, where she met her very best friend, Eleanor Sullivan. Joan was an avid QVC watcher and collector. Nothing made her happier then decorating for the holidays.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:00 AM. Entombment St. Joseph’s Mausoleum, Chews Landing.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan’s memory may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 3906 Church Rd., Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054-1108.
