On April 22, 2014 of Woodbury. Age 69. Devoted mother of Robert Cirincione(Tanya). Loving grandmother of Ethan, Chelsea, Raymond and Vincent. Dear sister of Rose Ashby.

Janet was a devoted mother and grandmother. Born in England she and her sisters traveled the world as her father was in the British Army. At eighteen Janet immigrated to the United States as a nanny for a couple in Bergen County NJ. She was married twice and had one son. Janet lived in various parts of New Jersey and also in Rockland County New York where she was also a member of the Hillburn Ladies Auxiliary. Janet enjoyed crafts, painting, or anything artistic and shopping. Her career spanned from working retail to getting into legal secretary work and ending her career as office manager at Cigna in Cherry Hill NJ. She enjoyed life and a good laugh and would always brighten a room. Mom/Gran Jan/Nana will be missed by everyone.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service Tuesday 11:00 am at the Egizi Funeral Home 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Interment will be private. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.egizifuneral.com.

Gran Jan We all loved you very much . I am sad that I will no longer hear her greet me as "dear heart" To coin a phrase from my cousin Luci, " do not cry because they are gone, smile because they were here "!

Gran Jan was one of the best to lighten everyone sorrows. She was the best maid of honor I could have had. I will never forget when she was in the hospital and pinching the bum of a nurse as he was trying to put her IV , say tasty. She was scared but all she wanted was us not to worry. I worked with Janet for many years at Siegal and Park. She was a grand lady who had a marvelous sense of humor. Despite her sorrows and life's injustice, she always managed to shrg it off with a smile and laugher. She hurt, as we all do, but somehow she muscled through and shared her kindness, warmth and humor with those she loved. She was a dear friend, loving mother and grandmother who brought joy to those around her. I will never forget her..
