James V. Cocchine, on July 8, 2014, of Washington Twp. Age 85. Beloved husband of Theresa (nee Mela) for 50 years. Loving godfather of Mark and James Mela. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Jim was an employee of Sears for 25 years. He was the owner and operator of TJ’s News Stand for over 10 years. He was employed by Chadmore Formal Wear where he brought his passion and energetic personality. Jimmy’s passions included boxing, baseball and especially his visits to Florida.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Sunday 7:00 – 9:00 pm and Monday 8:30 – 9:30 am at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10:00 am at SS. Peter & Paul RC Church, Washington Twp. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim’s memory may be made to SS. Peter & Paul RC Church, 362 Ganttown Road, Turnersville, NJ 08012. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.egizifuneral.com
