James Spadafora
On November 30, 2020 of Florence. Age 59.
James was born in Richman Hill, New York, but grew up in Turnersville, New Jersey.
He spent the last 8 months enjoying his retirement. Over the years he enjoyed flying planes, ultralights, and hang gliders; Blokarting; sailing; jet skiing; motorcycling; flying stunt kites; traveling, and just spending time with family and friends.
James is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Elsie Spadafora; his Mother-in-law, Marietta McDaid; his brothers, Ken and Frank, and his sister in-law Donna Spadafora. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Denise (nee McDaid); and his children, Christopher and Jennie. He lives on in the memory of his siblings, Pamela; Mary, her husband Tony; John, his wife Pam; and Paul, his wife Christina; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends, too numerous to list, but not forgotten.
In God’s care you rest above. In our hearts you rest in love.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations be made to Florence Township Fire Department at 401 Firehouse Lane, Florence, NJ 08518, who were appreciated in his time of need.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday 6:00-8:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 8:00 PM

I worked with James in his team at Datacolor. I am very sorry to hear about James. I deeply admired and respected him. He was full of life and very kind. He helped, mentored and supported me early in my career significantly contributing to what I achieved. Over the last few days I couldn't stop thinking about good times I had spent with James. He was one of the best individuals I ever came across! I would like to pass my condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

James was one of the best men I knew! He loved his family so much, was friendly, always smiling and had an all around fun personality. I got to know James through work and quickly, he became a friend. I admired how much time he had to play with his 'toys' and was able to travel, but that was James.....full of adventure and life! He will be very missed by many, and I am happy to have known him....I am a better person for it. Sending prayers for strength and love.

James was one of my favorite coworkers at Datacolor! Every time I saw him in the office he always made me laugh and smile. He was so supportive of me and genuinely cared about my success and how I was doing. I used to only work in the office 1 or 2 days a week, but used to look forward to seeing James and catching up. He always talked about his kids and his travel adventures with his wife. I loved hearing his stories! One day I was coughing at my desk and without asking he came over and left some cough drops on my desk. I used to get little notes on my desk from him too. He was so always so kind and so giving.
I am so heartbroken for his family and friends. My deepest condolences. I hope you find strength and comfort in knowing he is resting peacefully, and probably doing something exciting and making others laugh up in heaven. I'm sure he will be the best guardian angel up there too.
Rest in Paradise, James. You will be deeply missed. Thank you for being my work buddy and for all the laughs. ?

I enjoyed following his adventures on Facebook. He may have been taken from us too soon, but he lived a fulfilling life of outdoor adventures and travel and family love that many who live decades longer can only dream about.
