James P. Gallen, peacefuly at home on December 3, 2012, of Washington Twp. Age 77. Loving husband of 57 years of Josephine V. (nee Milcarek). Devoted father of James M. (Stacey), Michael W., and Stephen L. (Kathleen) Loving Dzaji of Jay, Sean, Zachary and Kurt. Dear brother of the late Marie Sandes, John, Robert and Edward.
James was born and raised in Camden, and lived in Washington Twp. for the last 40 years. He was the past president of St. Joe’s (Camden) Holy Name Society, Grand Marshall of Pulaski Day Parade, Past President of Whitman Park Youth Org. He was also a football coach at Gloucester Twp. Midget Football and Oaklyn Cougars, and a member of the Square Circle Gun Club.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday 8:30 – 10:30 am at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral Service 10:30 am at the funeral home. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in James’ memory to Compassionate Care Hospice, 600 Highland Drive, Suite 624, Westampton, NJ 08060. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.egizifuneral.com.

Dad i will miss you very much. When i was a young boy you were definitely a big motivator and very inspirational which i try to pass on to jay and zachary everyday. Remember anyone can be a father, it takes a special person to be a DAD. I will always treasure the conversations we had when jay was in the hospital after his accident. I love you very much, Jim.
