James J. Twomey, Sr., on February 16, 2014, of Washington Twp. Age 85. Beloved husband of Helen M. (nee Favilla). James J. Twomey, Sr., on February 16, 2014, of Washington Twp. Age 85. Beloved husband of Helen M. (nee Favilla). Devoted father of Mary Twomey, James Twomey (Joanne), Patricia McCann (Patrick), Helen Twomey and Vincent Twomey (Kelli). Loving grandfather of John, Julie, Jennafer, Rachel, James, Martin, Daniel, Brenna, Andrew, Meridith, Vincent and Aidan. Dear brother of Richard (Theresa) William, John (Maryanne) and the late Marion Davis, Margaret Borsare, Joseph Twomey, Jr. and Robert Twomey (9-11). He is also survived by his sister-in-law Marie and many loving nieces and nephews.
James enjoyed traveling, playing cards, reading, dining out at his favorite restaurants, going to the casino, watching the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, going to the beach, walking the boardwalk, and most important spending time with his family. He also loved New York.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday 7:00 – 9:00 pm and Friday 8:30 – 9:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 176 Stagecoach Road, Sicklerville, NJ 08081. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in James’ memory to St. Charles Borromeo Church at the above address. Arrangements are under the care of the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, Washington Twp. Condolences may be shard with the family at www.egizifuneral.com.
