On March 16, 2013 of Williamstown. Age 84. Beloved husband of 58 years to Joan C. (nee McDonough). Devoted father of Eileen (Joseph) Midili, Moira (Gerald) Berg, Sheila (Louis) Bosurgi, James (Karen) McDonald, William (Toni) McDonald, and the late John C. McDonald. Loving grandfather of 16. Proud great-grandfather of 1. Dear brother of Anthony (Patricia) McDonald and brother in-law of John J. McDonough.

James was the son of John C. and Edna McDonald, Albany NY. He is predeceased by brothers, Rev. John C. McDonald and William McDonald, sisters Edna (James) Foley, Gerry (Leonard) Smith, sister-in-law Dorothy McDonough. James is a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, Albany NY, and he attended Siena College. He served in the US Marine Corp from 1946-1951, and was an auditor and fraud investigator for MetLife NY for 40 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Friday 1:30 pm at the Church of the Holy Family 226 Hurffville Rd. Washington Twp. Memorial Mass 2:00 pm Interment will be private at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Schenectady, NY. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.egizifuneral.com.
