On January 2, 2011 of Washington Twp. Age 78. Beloved husband of Ida M. nee Schroeder. Devoted father of Susan West. Michael, James J., Jr. Kathleen and Geraldine Welsh. Loving grandfather of Amanda, Danielle, Zachary, Nicholas and Ryan.

James was a member of the Washington Twp American Legion post 521.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday eve. 7:00-9:00 pm and Thursday 8:30-9:30 am at the Egizi Funeral Home 119 Ganttown Rd. Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am at SS Peter & Paul RC Church, Washington Twp. Interment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown. Donations in James’s memory may be made to the American Lung Assn. 1031 Route 22 West Suite 203 Bridgewater, NJ 08807.

To Sue and her entire family, I worked with Susan when we were in our early 20's and it was very apparent to me that she was blessed with a wonderful father. She was always so proud of the man he was and the role he played in her family not only as a father, but as a wonderful husband also. I knew she was very lucky to have such a loving role model in her family. God bless you all. I am so happy for all of you that you had each other to share his entire life with.
