Hey Jim, I will never forget your nasty curve and playing softball on your team in Northeast, always a true competitor and friend! R.I.P!!!

Margie, Marla and Luke....I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you at this terrible time.
We went out for New Years Eve with a bunch of friends and Jim and Marge a long time ago it was fun. One of the guys forgot his shoes and had to borrow another persons shoes. It was fun. Mabel and Jim Carberry also send their condolences.
So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with Margie, Marla and Luke and Jim's entire family. May God bless you all.

Living so close to Summerdale Playground allowed me the good fortune of playing with Jimmy quite often.Whether it was basketball or baseball, always a great competitor.Very fond memories of spending many a Wednesday night with Jimmy at HB's,he gave Travolta a run for his money!
We shared our little home on Anchor street with Jimmy in the late 70ds . He was such a good person to my mom ,when Ricky was away in the Navy. I remember him having long talks with her. I believe he could tell when she was feeling sick or just missing my brother. I do not believe ,I ever thank him for being there for my mom. I am so sorry for his beautiful wife and children for their terrible loss
I'm so glad Jimmy made our golf outing a few years back after not seeing him for awhile . It was great to hear his laugh, even as he was hustling me for 10 bucks.Through 4 years of high school and 15 years of softball I always enjoyed hanging with Vach. We will keep him and his family in our prayers. Reggie

This has been a complete shock! I haven't seen Jim in many years but knowing Jim was never forgetting him.He had a Huge Personality! He was a man of many talents! He was the kind of person who would never forget you. Jim was a friend to me and my husband...sleep well my friend...Rest in peace Comfort to you Margie and you children.
Even though we didn't see each other much over the past 10 years or so, we had our occasional phone chats (and even texts as of late), and I enjoyed them thoroughly. You were my uncle, godfather, and friend. Watching Philly sports now and in the future I am sure I will be thinking WWUJS (what would Uncle Jim say?!) and I'll smile.
RIP, Uncle Jim! I am looking forward to celebrating your life with family and friends in the early new year.
