Howard “Butch” Raymond

On May 12, 2010, of Ocean City. Formerly of Washington Township. Age 70. Devoted father of Susan Raymond, Jeffrey Raymond Denise and Laura Raymond-Ahl. Step-father of B.J., Barbara and Brenda. Loving grandfather of Alexandria, Giana, Taylor, Ciara, Carina and Giordana. Dear brother of Wilma Suters.

Butch was a member of the Local #172 for 25 years. He was the former owner of Butch’s Sunset Point Luncheonette in Washington Township. Butch was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed spending time on the Ocean City boardwalk.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his life with a Memorial Service Saturday 4:00 pm at the Apostle’s Lutheran Church, 4401 Route 42, Turnersville.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Butch’s memory may be made to Gilda’s Club of South Jersey, 700 New Road, Linwood, NJ 08221-1237.

Carol,Sue, Jeff, Laura, Wilma and Grandchildren, and BJ, Barb, and Brenda I have been blessed to have known you for 20 years. Even though, Glenn and I only saw you once or twice a year, we enjoyed your sense of humor and vibrant personality, and mostly your big heart! Your nephew ,Glenn, adored you, and is grateful to you for helping him get to where he is today. Ethan still calls you the $2.00 Man.
