Helen T. Moss (nee Keim), on February 6, 2023, of Woodbury. Beloved wife of the late James E. Moss. Devoted mother of Stephen P. Moss (Mary), Julia Dean (Joseph, Jr.), Jimmy Moss (the late Lynn), and Richard D. Moss (Lori). Loving grandmother of Megan McQuin (Robert), Christopher Moss (Andrea), Stephanie Dorsey (Brian), Amanda Butler, JD Butler (Olivia), Cody Moss, Andy Moss, Bradley Dean (Alexandra), Jillian Stinson (Ryerson), Tricia Cavallaro (Joseph), Laurel Yerg, Lillian Moss-Yerg, Jenna Van Hook, and Danny Clark (Brittany). Proud great-grandmother of Rebekah, Emily, Kyleigh, Joey, Brayden, Sawyer, Everly, Olivia, Myles, and JJ.
Helen Theresa Keim Moss reached the end of her wonderful life on February 6, 2023 at the age of 90 surrounded by her children.
Born in Mahanoy City, PA on November 27, 1932, Helen attended St. Canicus through 10th grade and graduated from Mahanoy City High School in 1950, after which she attended Hahnemann Nursing School. While there, she met her future husband, James Edward Moss. They were married in 1955, and raised four children in Oak Valley, NJ where they lived from 1956 until 1986 during which time she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania and her Masters in Nursing at Glassboro State College. She worked for the School District of Philadelphia as a school nurse where she retired in 1986. Helen and Jim then retired to Palm Bay, FL. In November of 2022, Helen relocated back to Woodbury, NJ.
Helen was active in supporting her church including the local bereavement group and as a Eucharistic Minister. She enjoyed going to the local theater. During her life she enjoyed cruising and family vacations in a trailer. Her favorite activities included monthly Card Club and cross-stitching quilts.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Monday 9:30 – 11:00 am at Infant Jesus Parish, St. Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church, 334 Beech Avenue, Woodbury Heights. Mass of Christian Burial 11:15 am. Entombment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
