On February 26, 2011, of Blackwood. Age 86. Beloved wife of Edward Joseph, Sr. Devoted mother of Edward, Jr., Mark and David DiGiovanni, Elaina Cincotti and Carla Librizzi. Loving grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of 9. Dear sister of Anna Loeffler and Mary Parrotto.

Helen will probably be remembered most for being a strong, self-sufficient woman who was happy to devote her life to her family. Her children and other family members will always remember fondly the family days at the Ventnor, NJ, home on Surrey Ave., one block from the beach, when she single-handedly she would not accept your help! prepared a buffet dinner for all, while they enjoyed social and beach time.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday 9:30 – 11:00 am at St. Jude’s RC Church/Our Lady of Hope Parish, 420 Black Horse Pike, Blackwood. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.

Dear Uncle Eddy and to all my cousins. Today 4/28/2011, I herad the terrible news of Aunt Helens passing. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. It always seems that when someone passes, you remember back to better days and fond memories. I sit here and recall walking on Ventnors beach on a very hot day, when Aunt Helen came out of nowhere and hugged the daylights out of me. Its hard to imagine the she was able to spot someone among all the hundreds of people on the beach. We went back to the house with her and she insisted that we stay for dinner. Who other than Aunt Helen would care to cook on a hot day. I will keep that memory in my heart, as for some reason no one but me and my wife were there, so I got to see my aunt in a different light than I had before. Denny
