Harry C. Hamp Jr.

On June 22nd, 2023, of Gloucester Township. Age 83. Cherished husband of the late AnnaMarie Hamp.  Dedicated father of Denise Gretz (Bob), Donna Mangino (Mike), Karen Zehner (Kevin), and Christine Leone. Loving grandfather of Christian (Emily), Michael (Dana), Taylor, Kevin, Nicolette, Daniella, Mario, and Vincent. Proud great-grandfather of Giavanna AnnaMarie.  Loved by nieces and nephews.

We lost our beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend far too soon. If you knew Buddy, you would know that his love for his wife, his four daughters, his grandchildren, the Eagles, and his career as a steamfitter were his five greatest passions. In his spare time, he was frequently spotted fishing with his grandsons.  He would frequently tell his granddaughters that he would give them money to buy new jeans without holes. Sundays were spent eating gravy and watching Eagles games. Despite having eight grandchildren, he never missed a single one of their practices or games. Say hello to Mom for us and know that we will always cherish the time we had with you.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday, July 1, 10:15-11:45 AM at Our Lady of Hope Parish/St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, 701 Little Gloucester Road, Blackwood.  Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 PM.  Entombment, St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing.
