Renee Lavelle left a message on May 25, 2023:
Mrs. Schoch was a wonderful neighbor for many years on Merion Road. Our families were all original owners on that street and the neighbors were like family back then. I was very lucky to go on many adventures with Gail, Matt, and Mrs. Schoch over the years while growing up including trips to Wildwood, the bowling alley, and drive in movies. Many times Gail, Bev, and I would camp out in the Schoch backyard (and one night Matt shot an arrow at the tent lol!) and Mrs. Schoch always cooked up great treats for us. Like my own mother, Mrs. Schoch was a great sewer and crafter and I remember many times going to the fabric stores with both of them with a bunch of us kids in tow. She had a great sense of humor. She told a story about one morning laying in bed and our cat Pepsi had come in their open basement window, jumped up on the bed with her, and nearly gave her a heart attack. Now some people would be upset at that but Mrs. Schoch found it really funny. She was a great, kind lady who loved her family and friends and was always ready to help whenever she was needed. It was a true honor to know her. I will always remember her with fondness and smiles.
