Gloria Musni Balatbat,
(nee Sagum), 84, of Westampton, NJ (formerly of Washington Township) passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 1, 2022. She is survived by her daughters Glorelyn (Greg), Lisa, Jennifer (Corey) and Michelle (Daniel) and grandchildren Kelly, Danielle, Ethan, Keith and Daisy.
Gloria was born in Candaba, Pampanga, Philippines and came to the United States (Delaware) in 1961 as a nurse. She continued to pursue her nursing passion at Philadelphia hospitals until her retirement in 2000.
Gloria enjoyed gardening and arts and crafts especially ceramics and sewing. Many neighbors and friends benefited from many tomato and long bean crops each year. But her greatest joys and accomplishments were seeing her daughters pursue their education, and spoiling her beautiful grandchildren. She and her husband Reynaldo loved to spoil and dote on them especially with “Lola’s cooking”. Gloria was admired for her specialty dishes and many gatherings with family and friends where she showcased her delicious cooking and love for us all with her many specialty Filipino dishes.
Gloria was a very devout Roman Catholic and relied upon her faith in guiding her entire life and she will always be remembered for her devotion. She will continue to be remembered and admired for her loving care and generosity in always helping others and welcoming anyone into her home and will be greatly missed by her devoted family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday 10:30 – 12:00 pm at SS. Peter & Paul RC Church, 362 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 12:15 pm. Interment Gloucester County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
