Gladys Adelaide Spruill (nee Fish), on December 28, 2013, of Mantua. Age 93. Beloved wife of the late Thomas “Ed”. Loving mother of Thomas E.W. Spruill, Sr. (Patricia), Laura D. Riegel (Skip) and Judie Spruill. Loving grandmother of 8, great-grandmother of 15 and great-great-grandmother of 7. Dear sister of Dorothy Richter and the late Olive Dougherty and Irma Everson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Saturday 10:00 – 11:00 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral service Saturday 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment private.

My prayers and thoughts are with the Spruill family especially Tom & Pat and their kids. I know living so far away from family during this time is difficult. I know I have met Mrs. Spruill as a youngster but have no clear memory. I do however know what a great son she raised and what a great husband, dad and grand dad he is. This is because of great parenting. So, your legacy lives on through your family. Rest in Peace.

These pictures were from our last visit with Grandmom in November 2010. Hard to believe it was that long ago. Mark and Maddie were 9 and 11. Grandmom played hymns on the piano and we had a great time together.
