Jerry was a lot of things to many people, but to me he was my neighbor, and my friend, but more than that he was my family. Even though I have only known him for the past seven years it seems as if he has always been apart my life. As you all know Jerry had a passion for riding his motorcycle, and I was fortunate enough to have been apart of that. The very first time I was on a motorcycle I rode with Jerry and I enjoyed every minute of it. They say there is a first time for everything and I am happy I can say I experienced something for the first time with him. I never met a more special and heart touching man in all my life and I wanna thank his family for sharing him with me and allowing me and my family to be apart of their family.

Gerry was my parents neighbor and our friend. He was kind, generous and always willing to help, be it mowing the lawn or shoveling snow. He let me ride his brand new motorcycle when I was visiting home once. I scraped his foot peg around a turn and told Gerry after my ride. He laughed and shrugged his shoulders like it was no big deal. What a great guy.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Gerry was my boss for just under 2 years. He tried to make our work place more fun and tried to understand his employees' needs. He also challeged our minds. Gerry loved crossword puzzles. Although crossword puzzles are not my favorite puzzles I enjoyed helping him with them. My favorite puzzles are crytograms and I did Sudoku puzzles for a while. He knew those puzzles would keep our minds alert. I moved to another position in the company. Even though Gerry was not my boss I would work with him in various work challenges. I hope to remember him at work by using the things he taught me.

So many memories do I really only have 1000 characters to work with? For starters, I will always remember the Walt Disney World Trip of 1996. Our fancy dinner at the Coral Reef, having fun and eating ALL of our vegetables with Aunt Sally and just having a blast at the theme parks. Mr.M was always teaching me about something different every time I came over, whether it was his views on politics or his extensive knowledge of electronics, I always felt like I left the Miller house a little smarter every time I visited. I will also remember the blood, sweat and tears that went into the construction of the Miller Family pool. I never saw his face light up with excitement than when he purchased his hog and began to explore his new hobby. I will always be grateful to the friendship he showed to my Dad both before and after his sickness. It was an honor and a privilege to know you Mr.M and I will always cherish the memories. This is not a good bye, it’s an I’ll see you later.

Jerry was the best man I ever met, so in love with his wife and devoted to his family. Not only was he my neighbor and friend but also my family. He knew how to do anything and everything and was willing to help anyone. I will miss seeing that bike ride by and that knock on the door asking if Steve can come out and play. I love you and miss you. Love always, Tiffany

Jerry was a good friend and neighbor. He was such a character. I will always remember his smile. He was always grinning. And always expressing his opinion of something. And of course had the facts to back it up. Thank you for your friendship and for just being you. Rest in Peace my friend.

Jerry was not only a boss he was a mentor and a friend. I worked at EMSL when he was the Lab Manager. We would go to lunch and he would come in and the Chemistry lessons would begin. There was many a day I was late getting back from lunch because he would be explaining something really interesting. The one thing that stuck with me was the day someone called an istrument a machine. He went on to lecture that a machine does work and an instrument reads data. To this day I correct people for the same mistake. He was really down to earth and the fact that he let us call him Jerry or DM instead of being formal showed that. There were times when the lab was busy and he would come and ask you to stay you just didn't say no. Jerry was bigger than life. I kept in touch with him even after we were both gone from EMSL. He was always there for you if you had a question or just needed to talk. I am truely goin to miss him. I will keep your family in my prayers. God speed Jerry

I had the pleasure of working with Gerry at AnalytiKem many years ago. While we lost touch I often thought about him and his family. Gerry became my mentor and schooled me in his many theories of business that I still apply to my career today. Gerry had a tremendous drive to expand his knowledge about anything and the patience to teach anyone willing to learn. His personality shined through even on some of the hardest days at work. He always found a way to make me see things from a different perspective and had a knack for making me laugh every day. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends. Melissa

I met Gerry as a customer of CVC. He was a surperb analyst, however on the other side of the coin, he was friendly to our concerns and soon became a friend. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time. Edward Van Vliet

Dr. Miller gave me my first job in the chemistry field at AnalytiKEM in Cherry Hill. When he first interviewed me he had no open positions, but he called me back a year later and hired me. This job was a life changer...as a result of Dr. Miller's influence, I chose analytical chemistry as a career and have been working in the field continuously ever since. Dr. Miller attended my wedding and I will always be grateful to him for starting me out in the business that now supports my family. He was a true friend and mentor during the years I worked for him and I will never forget him. My condolences go out to his family at this difficult time.
