On December 15, 2010 of Blackwood, NJ. Age 64. Loving father of Camilla Benene, Sara Erb Robert and Gerard Benene, Jr. Loving grandfather of Jake, Andrew, Liliana, Cody and Leila. Dear brother of Kevin Pat, Tommy Judy, Ceil Condran Jimmy, Patrick and the late Joanne Leipert and Vincent Benene. Sister-in-law Cheryl Benene Also survived by his favorite ex-wife, Cathy Benene and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday 8:30 – 10:30 am at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Rd., Turnersville, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am at SS Peter & Paul RC Church, Turnersville, NJ. Interment private at the convenience of the family.

My deepest sympathy to Jerry's family. I fondly remember Jerry as a superbly talented photojournalist and as an able manager of the work of his talented colleagues. He was admired and respected by everyone on the staff who worked with him.

Dear Cathy and family, To have a family as devoted to his care through such a long illness over such a long time is testament to the personality and talent of a man who is former husband, forever father, and always grandfather to some of the most important people in my church life. Kevin, Pat and Benene family, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Jerry. We can never prepare for that hole the loss leaves in our hearts and our lives.
