Gerri has been a friend for 35 years. We taught together at Bells and Bunker Hill. She made every work day, play day and restaurant dinner more fun and always memorable.We will ways remember her spirited observations and sharp wit. Her friends will be telling Gerri stories for years to come.

In my first few years at Bunker Hill, I was on Gerri's 6th-grade team. I was her co-teacher for a few years, so I got to know her well. Her dry sense of humor always kept her co-workers guessing. She was very caring, sweet, and a wonderful listener. I am so sad to hear of her passing. Gerri will be missed. My deepest condolences to her family.

Gerri was one very special teacher a Bunker Hill. She was one of the first teachers that welcomed me when I started working at BH over 20 years ago. I will never forget how much she made me laugh with her spontaneous jokes and sense of humor, especially at the copying machine in the morning rush! She really made our days lighter and more fun. Gerri and I also connected through our passion for ballroom dancing and Latin music. I shared with her my love for flamenco and salsa dancing and she knew how important it is to do something you love. I am so sorry for the loss of such a beautiful soul. May her memory continue to be honored through the lives of her children, grandchildren, her family, and all the friends whom she inspired to live life to the fullest.
